Kim – Day 68: 297 to Go

I am one of those people who starts a project but almost always doesn’t get it done unless there is a hard deadline. You can tell if you look at my craft closet. It’s filled with tools for scrapbooking, sewing, quilting, photo matting, and tole painting.  I don’t think that I am unmotivated or disorganized. I think what I probably need is to defragment my life, just like you’d defragment your computer’s hard drive. I have the same number of hours (memory) as anyone else. It just gets all broken up because I let it.  Yes, there are time constraints to when I have to make meals or pick up and drop off kids, but if I were to sort and compartmentalize the rest of the daily tasks, I suppose I could accomplish much more.  I’m not exactly sure how to do that. How do we create that open space that comes with defragmenting our time? This is not a rhetorical question. I really want to hear from anyone who has ideas on how to do this.
