We assume.  When we are having a bad day we assume.  We assume that there is nobody out there that can understand where we are coming from.  We assume that when we are angry the world is against us.  When we are down we assume that somehow we are being punished.  We assume that we know what is best and when it doesn’t go that way we assume the worst.  We make all kinds of assumptions all day long.  Well today I learned that our assumptions are mostly way off.  I have challenges and we all do but today, I spoke to someone with a terminal illness and realized that while we may think our life is going down hill or not in the direction we may not want it go in there are those out there that are facing challenges that we can’t even relate to.  So tonight as your head hits your pillow assume this.  That the sun will rise and greet you and give you another chance to see the world with understanding.
