Faced today with the question of how much we help or rescue our kids and how much we let them fall and face the consequences of their choices. It is part of that maternal instinct to protect, but just like the mother bird, if she doesn’t let her baby learn to fly on their own, even if that means falling sometimes, they will never learn to use their own wings.
